The Duteau Grist Mill 
The
Duteau House built 1870's still stands.
Both these pictures taken in the 40's were captured
almost from the same spot; standing on Dawe Drive looking west.
The left snapshot is of the 1st school, it is still standing.
It was replaced by the school on the right, which is now gone.
A third school was built on Johnson (School) Road. It has since
been expanded into the present Community School.
