Above is an aerial shot of Lavington
looking south-east.
To the right, about 7 miles west, is Vernon and to the left about
7 miles east is Lumby.
It is easy to see the many small farms in the area.
Center right shows a residential area and center left shows Tolkos
Sawmill and Consumers Glass.
Bluenose is a curious mountainous formation resembling a face
looking up from the valley. The nose, located just under the 'Bluenose'
word, is just left of the forehead and hair. It is much easier
to see from the valley bottom.
